Industry Interaction Group

The industry interaction Group is an initiative, which acts as a bridge between 'Industries' and the 'Students'. The focus is to assist students by giving them industry exposure, where they can 'Practically Apply' the concepts they learn at CIMAGE.

* The clubs enables us to pull together theory, practice, experience and talent on a common platform, while encouraging students to find innovative solutions to real-world business problems.
* Over the time, this equips students with the skills that are required in the new business environment, and thus prepare them for better placement opportunities.

    itclub IT CLUB :
    The objective of this club is to update and give practical exposure on implementation of knowledge sharing concept.

    ACTIVITIES :-
    * Developing online IT resource reservoir.
    * To work on projects and small utility software.
    * Create IT awareness on new launches in IT field through IT wall/IT newsletter.
    * Be a team member of the automation of the college. (Visitor record, library, attendance etc.)
    * Organize workshops/seminars and industry interaction sessions on new technologies, payment gateways, social networking, android application development, mobile applications etc.
    * Invite professionals from IT industry to have interactive sessions with students.
    * Find out opportunities in the market for internships and jobs.
    * Organize IT Fest, Competitions, Website Development Competitions, IT Quiz etc.

    hrclubHR CLUB :
    The objective of this club is to develop the personal and professional qualities of students & work together to become effective leaders of effective groups. To develop skills like Team Work, Leadership, Interpersonal Relationship etc. among the students. To develop understandability of business environment, the HR club shall sharpen the students' Knowledge, Attitude and Skills with a view to manage the emerging challenges and issues in the area of Work life balance.

    ACTIVITIES:-
    * Create awareness about changing HR policies and trends in specific industry areas.
    * Lectures on Recent Development in HRM.
    * Organizing workshops/Seminars.
    * Inviting guest lecturers/professionals for an interactive session with the students on Leadership& Team Building, Best HR Practices, Performance management and measurement tools, 360 degree review, IR, Training & Development, Compensation management.
    * To have an updated information on opening in the market for Internships and Jobs.
    * Projects and Case studies followed by detailed analysis in club meetings.
    * Organizing HR Summits and coordination other HR related workshops.

    marketingclubMARKETING CLUB :
    The Marketing Club aims to provide opportunities to the members to develop marketing skills and to equip the students to handle the real situations in the Marketing Field through experience. The club will provide a platform to the students to interact with professionals in the field of marketing and learn various things.

    ACTIVITIES:
    * Organizing visits to Wholesale/Retail market and collect data for analysis.
    * Organize monthly events to highlight different patterns, concepts and new trends in marketing strategies adopted by leading companies in various sectors.
    * Dedicate a week on a particular sector for e.g.- Pharma Marketing and do Research, Data collection, Guest Lectures, Presentations, Competitions, Quiz and Seminar and Workshops on marketing, Sales & Distribution strategies of Pharma companies. Similar weeks can be allotted to different sectors like Telecom, FMCG, Retail,Finance,etc.
    * Inviting professionals for workshops and seminars on Creative advertisements, Launching a new product, CRM, Branding strategies, Rural marketing, Public relations and corporate advertising
    * Retail marketing strategies, Merchandising management, B2B Marketing, etc.
    * Lecture on Recent Development in Marketing
    * Case Studies, Marketing Quiz.
    * Invite companies from various sectors to put stalls in the Workshop organized on Sales and Marketing.
    * Market the event to get prospective buyers.

    financeclubFINANCE CLUB :
    The goal of Finance Club is to promote a professional association with in the realm of finance. Improve its members by creating opportunities, which enhance their skills academically, professionally and socially and match students with career in financial service industry. We aim not only to prepare CIMAGE students for career in Finance but also help them to find a suitable root into that career.

    ACTIVITIES:-
    Invite professionals(IT/Tax/ST/CA consultants) to discuss balance sheet of companies and discuss on various subjects related to Finance like, Merchant Banking, Investment Banking, Transactions in a stock exchange, trends in the primary market, Security Credit ratings, Venture capital, Real Estate investment, Fundamental security analysis, Portfolio Investment Process, Hedging, Foreign Portfolio Investment etc.
    * Lectures and discussions on Recent Development in Finance, Budget Analysis, Mock Budget Costing ,Stock Market, Forex Currency, Interest Rate Scenario ,etc.

    mediaclubMEDIA CLUB :
    It aims to bring together students with an interest in the Media and Entertainment Sector. The Club focuses on interacting and learning from professionals belonging to Television, Film, Radio, Print and Electronic Media.

    ACTIVITIES:-
    * News Paper Analysis.
    * Recording of TV Programs and analyzing the same.
    * Inviting guests for Seminars/workshops from various print and electronic media.
    * Speakers from Political, social sector and other distinguished celebrities.
    * Update Media Wall/ Monthly newsletter
    * Write-ups, competitions and video recording on various social issues and also send them for publishing in print media and the news and recordings to Electronic Media
    * Opening in the market for internships and jobs

    * Every year the Media Club will hosts a flagship event that brings together leaders from the industry to discuss a key trend.

    enterpreneurclubENTREPRENEUR CLUB :
    The entrepreneurship club is to help the members to make the most of the resources available for the aspirants, who are curious about entrepreneurship and to assist them to walkout as more confident entrepreneurs who are prepared to face challenges of the entrepreneurial world. The Entrepreneurship Club aims to provide a conduit by which students can access relevant entrepreneurial resources, network with prominent community entrepreneurs, and share ideas. To this end, the club is dedicated to furthering understanding about new or small businesses, and about entrepreneurship in all businesses.

    ACTIVITIES :-
    * Seminars and workshops on providing practical learning opportunities to minimize risk and maximize success in ventures
    * Facilitate interaction with experience entrepreneurs, industry experts and venture capitalists to gain insight and inspiration.
    * Frequent programs like - Interview with entrepreneur.
    * Inviting entrepreneurs, Govt. bodies (MSME, Banks etc.)
    * Workshops on Entrepreneurship development.
    * Visits to setups of Entrepreneurs.
    * 'Make & Sell' -Bookmarks with dries flowers, Recycling - Products from trash paper, Post cards - photograph various scenes in college and prepare post card to be sold within the college.
    * Business Plan Competition.
